Work

Work is something most of us spend a good percentage of our life engaged in. Some employees see their coworkers more than their spouses or children. Over the past 100 years the concept of work has changed. No longer do we anticipate spending our entire working history at one company. Because of technology many of us can be connected to work 24/7. Work has gone from being a solitary component, as in the case of the assembly line worker doing 1 repetitive task all day long, to putting workers together where they have to communicate and produce outcomes. Work has moved from a male dominated environment of similarities to a diverse and vibrant reflection of the community as a whole. These changes have created opportunities for many but also brought new complexities to the work environment.
