Suicidal thoughts should always be taken seriously. Individuals with suicidal thoughts and/or plans should seek immediate help from a professional. It is not uncommon for people to have fleeting thoughts often based in anger or frustration that they wish they were dead. When someone voices suicidal thoughts it should be taken seriously and intervention should occur. Professionals should be the only ones determining if a person is suicidal or not.
