Home / Life / Communication

Communication comes from the Latin commūnicāre meaning “to share”.

We all communicate daily in a variety of ways. Technology has created many new ways to communicate that were not even imagined 50 years ago. While communication occurs in many ways not all of it is effective. There are multiple ways to communicate: verbal, non-verbal, written, etc. There are even times when a variety of communication forms are being used at the same time. In meetings a leader may be verbally communicating while writing on paper and using body language.

The focus of these pages is on effective and positive communication.
